ZUCCHINI FRIES

Healthy & delicious, low carb alternative to French Fries!


INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 tsp of garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp of onion powder

  • 2-3 tbsp of parsley

  • 1 tsp of herbs

  • 1 tsp of black pepper

  • 1 tsp of sea salt

  • 1/2 tsp of paprika

  • 2 tbsp of olive oil

  • 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese, freshly grated

  • 1.5 lb of zucchini, fresh


COOKING METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. In a small bowl, gather & mix all of the spices, dry ingredients, & cheese— do not mix the oil in this bowl. Mix ingredients thoroughly.

  3. Cut the zucchini into pieces that resemble French Fries.

  4. In a separate bowl, place in the cut zucchini & pour in the olive oil. Be sure to coat the zucchini pieces evenly.

  5. In the bowl containing the zucchini, pour in the spices, dry ingredients, & cheese. Evenly coat the zucchini pieces.

  6. Place the coated zucchini on a baking sheet & place in the oven for 15 min.

  7. After the 15 minutes has passed, broil the zucchini for 2-3 minutes.

  8. Remove the zucchini & allow the pieces to cool.

  9. Enjoy with a dipping sauce of choice!
