ENERGY BITES
A delicious on the go snack packed with nutrients & flavor!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups of quick oats or dry oatmeal 
- 1 cup of smooth peanut butter 
- 1/2 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips 
- 1/2 cup of honey 
- 2 tbsps of ground flaxseeds 
COOKING METHOD
- In a medium/large bowl, mix in the oats, flaxseeds, & the mini chocolate chips. 
- Warm the honey & the peanut butter to a slightly melted consistency to make the mixing process easier. (tip: spray the measuring cup with a cooking oil to make it easier for the ingredients to slip out of the cup) 
- Add in the warm honey & peanut butter to the mixing bowl. 
- Mix all the ingredients very thoroughly & cover the bowl. Place the bowl in the fridge for a minimum of 20 minutes. 
- After removing the bowl from the fridge, roll small portions of the mixture into golf size like balls. 
- Enjoy!
